We Sold Our Beloved Little Cheese Shop " Farmhouse Artisan Cheese"

Well, in case you haven't already heard……… it’s with complete mixed emotions (happy, sad, thrilled) that Chris and I are letting everyone know that we have sold our beloved little cheese shop Farmhouse Artisan Cheese in June of this year. The time has come to move on, relax a little and pass the torch to our wonderful buyers Stephane and Laure, they are the perfect fit and we can’t wait to see what they do with our little gem!

Unbelievably it has been almost 9 years since we opened Farmhouse and the memories are countless. We are both extremely proud of what we built and accomplished, starting with our build-out from scratch in 2015, then growing every year, surviving Covid and much more. Looking back I can’t believe how much effort we put into our little venture. In the past 9 years it has become a mainstay, not only in Kerr Village but all of Oakville, with some regular customers coming from all parts of Ontario. We thank all of our amazing staff, both past and present who all held a part, albeit big or small, in the success that Farmhouse has become. This includes our full time managers and staff to some amazing part time high school and college students who busted their butts over every hectic Christmas season, many returning year after year. Also a huge shout out to many of our artisanal boutique vendors and cheesemakers who helped us create a uniqueness not found in many shops. What an adventure it's been but it's time to move on to the next phase of our lives!
